  • ·         MRS. Bhavana Chitlange (Principal)
  • ·         DR. Ajay Prabhakar (Former UN Programs officer, Founder-Chairman,etc)

Child care, otherwise known as day care, is the care and supervision of a child or multiple children at a time, whose ages range from two weeks to twenty years. Child care is a broad topic that covers a wide spectrum of professionals, institutions, contexts, activities, and social and cultural conventions. Early child care is an equally important and often overlooked component of child development/

In general, all child care arrangements, including licensed family child care and center-based child care should follow five main principles of safety: symptom checks, hand hygiene, disinfection, distancing and masking. Many child care providers across the country have operated safely throughout the pandemic using these five principles-:

  • Ø  Symptom checks
  • Ø  Hand hygiene
  • Ø  Disinfection
  • Ø  Distancing
  • Ø  Masking

In this speakers even tells that this experience new just not for children but even for the professionals people, parents and teachers. As the people our getting aware of this. So guidelines even came about online activity and teaching. Even parents are spending more time with their children’s and teaching them. This even increases the moral values of a child and incorporate effective way of learning new skills.

You sort of have to redo all of the curriculum so you can teach it online, because a lot of it was dependent on you being there and leading the students through certain things. Even discipline is maintained but we need to focus in that what child wants to do extra.

We have to be prepared for the worst. We need to bring this in our routine. Mentors plays a very important role in our life. If a teacher makes a video of washing hands and this is done in live demo but at this time videos are done for the sake of hygiene.

Playschool child does not want to sit and take the online classes. So we as parents need to engage the child in this so he would not need to even watch television and shallow the things, building up the block. Nature is great mother also a great teacher. So we need to play fantastic videos and sounds so the smile you see on the child face is commendable and he would love to see it more. It’s about doing things interestingly and effectively to motivate a child. Good vocabs can be made and build up at this point of the time. Doing social distancing is important and make groups at home for the children can be a way of interaction.

So in the crux I would like to say it’s a difficult time but it should be handled with calmness and peace. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind,
but you can change yourself. That is something you have.
The more that you read, the more things you will know, the more that you learn, the more powerful you will feel.
